This Privacy Policy explains how Twin Brothers Payam & Peyman(“we”, “us”, or “the developer”) handles information in the mobile application Falhafez: Hafez Fal & Divan (Android package net.kurdsofts.falhafez, and on the Apple App Store as Fal Hafez) — together, “the App”. The App offers traditional Persian Hafez fortune-telling (fāl), the full Divan of Hafez with audio recitation, favorites, and a bilingual (Persian/English) interface.

By using the App you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

Who we are

Information we collect

The App does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask you for your name, email address, phone number, or postal address. Your favorites and reading settings are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.

The App uses Google services (advertising, analytics, crash reporting, and push notifications) that may collect the following categories of data:

  • Device and advertising identifiers — such as the Google Advertising ID (Android) / Identifier for Vendors (iOS) and a randomly generated install identifier, used to serve and measure ads.
  • Approximate (coarse) location — derived from your IP address / device locale, used to serve relevant ads. The App does not request precise GPS location.
  • App activity and interactions — anonymous usage events (for example which screens are opened) used for analytics.
  • Crash logs and diagnostics — technical information about crashes and performance, used to keep the App stable.
  • Device and connection information — such as device model, operating-system version, language, and network state.

How we use information

  • To display the poetry, fortunes, and audio recitations that are the App’s core function.
  • To show advertising that helps keep the App free.
  • To understand aggregate, anonymous usage so we can improve the App.
  • To diagnose crashes and improve stability and performance.
  • To send optional push notifications (which you can disable in your device settings).

Advertising

The App displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may use device and advertising identifiers and approximate location to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland we present a Google-certified consent (UMP) form, and on iOS we request App Tracking Transparency permission, before any personalized advertising or tracking takes place. Analytics, crash reporting, and notifications

The App uses Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, and Cloud Messaging) to understand anonymous usage, diagnose crashes, and deliver push notifications. See the Firebase Privacy and Security information.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. Data described above is processed by our third-party service providers — primarily Google (AdMob and Firebase) — acting as independent controllers or processors for advertising and analytics purposes, in accordance with their own privacy policies:

Audio recitations

When you play a poem’s recitation, the App downloads an audio file from our server at divanhafez.com. Standard server logs (such as IP address and the requested file) may be recorded for security and reliability; they are not used to identify you personally.

Data retention and your choices

  • Favorites and settings live only on your device; uninstalling the App removes them.
  • You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in your device settings.
  • To request access to, or deletion of, any data associated with your device, email us at [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children’s privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Security

We rely on reputable service providers and standard technical measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard the limited data the App handles.

International users

The App is available worldwide. Information processed by Google may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside your country, subject to Google’s safeguards.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
